This & That Creative Blog
My sister is one of the contributors to This & That Creative Blog. One of the other contributors is having a baby and needed someone to fill in for a while. Enter Jen. So, every Wednesday for an unknown amount of time, I will be posting crafting tutorials and such. The last week of every month (so this week) is a spotlight week where we each select a different blog to showcase. If you're bored or feel like a little crafting check it out (there's also a link somewhere on my sidebar). Next week I'm making a hooded lion towel, it'll be great.

A really good reason for the blogging lull...
I've been a little bit crappy at blogging lately. But I have a really good reason. Several really. But especially one.
First, school got really crazy for a while, and sometimes I have to focus on that even though I really don't want to.
Second, when I have free time, I pretty much just like so spend it with Adam. Because he's so cool.
But the biggest reason is that I've been really distracted...by this little cutie pants...
Meet Baby Kay. In January we found out we would become parents this September and it's been kind of hard to focus on much else. We are really excited.
The horrible months of vomit and misery really seem to be wrapping up which I really appreciate. In February we got to hear our little one's heart beat and the other day we got to see Baby Kay's cute little body and excellent moving around skills. It's all surreal and so exciting and a little scary and wonderful. So, sometime around September 13th, Baby Kay will make a debut and change our lives for ever!
**Side note - I was strongly advised to resign from the Ragnar race. I really appreciate everyone's support for such an amazing cause, but I'll be a bit beyond 6 months pregnant and need to put our baby's needs first. If you want me to try to have your donation refunded, let me know. Thanks**

Luckiest=Me
Only the very lucky and most blessed women get to have amazingly sweet, compassionate, caring (and way hot and funny and cool) husbands who bring them breakfast in bed on a Thursday. It's not my birthday or our anniversary (it is my sister's...happy anniversary D&A...but I'm pretty sure Adam doesn't know this and that it's completely unrelated). It's not a special Thursday (except the breakfast in bed part...that made it special). Today is just another day.
Do you know Adam? Then you know how much he cherishes his sleep. It's hilarious. But he cut back on sleep for me. Today, I got to be reminded how awesome Adam is. This happens a lot, which is super cool. He's a lot better than me...at everthing...and in everyway...seriously. I'm not a downer. I think I'm pretty great actually. But he's so much better! I'm lucky. I'm happy. He's a champ.
I have a lot more to say. Maybe some other time. This fella seriously deserves endless praise and prizes and glory because he's so fetching wonderful.
