Lad's Wedding
My cousin, Eric, married Liz on February 20, 2010 in the Draper temple. The temple and ceremony were beautiful. It was our first ceremony since our own (and exactly 8 months later).
I love love love my family. This picture (the top one) is a showcase of some of the greats. Jacob and Kelli slept over the night before the wedding. They are some of the funniest coolest kids of all time and definitely more like me than anyone I've ever met (which I view as a good thing). Adam is the best husband and friend a gal could ever have...big surprise, I love my husb. Last but not least, the little Grandma. This woman is my inspiration. I want to be like her. She really is one of the all time greatest people in the history of the world. I plan to name a baby after her (if I ever have a girl) in the hope that some of my Grandma's coolness will be passed along.

Above: Some rad kids making faces. Dawson is my little cousin from Alaska. He and my uncle flew down for the wedding. They have an awesome family but I don't see them very often. Dawson and I bonded through little acts of mischief. I tried to tempt him to open wedding gifts (don't worry, he knew I was joking), encouraged him to pull faces or pick his nose in pics (obviously a success), and plenty more. He's gonna be just like his old man at this rate.

A Long, LOVE-ly weekend!
Valentine's/Presidents' Day weekend was so awesome!
Friday we rented the crappiest movie of all time. Adam loves scary/horror movies. We rented My Name is Bruce. It wasn't good. Like, not scary or good. Just plain bad. Hopefully he enjoyed it though.
Saturday we slept in super late and didn't go to class (always a good idea, in my opinion). I gave Adam his gift. I got him season 3 of the Tudors series. It's a Showtime series about Henry VIII. Then we did some shopping. He works full time and goes to school at night and works out when he isn't in school...and spends time with me...needless to say, he didn't have time to buy me a gift...which is cool with me because I like to shop with him. I have been slowly buying things to decorate our house. I saw this as an opportunity to get more house stuff. AK bought be huge, brown, plushy throw pillows for our huge, tan couch. They are so comfortable and look amazing. He also bought be a letter K to put on the shelf in our living room. I'll post pics after I get a couple more things.
After present time we went to my parents to watch some olympics (we don't have any channels).
Then we went home and made little, heart-shaped pizzas per our Valentine's Day tradition. We ate around 10:00 pm because we were too in to the olympics to leave any sooner.
On Sunday, we had brunch and delivered Valentine's to Katie, Lyv, and Max. I was so jazzed! They loved them which pleased me. We hung out with Adam's mom and brother for a spell before returning to my parents' for dinner and more olympics. Jacob and I helped Natalie with her solo for a competion...then Adam and I got home super late yet again.
Monday was bliss. It would have been better if Adam didn't have to work but I loved having a whole day free to clean my house, catch up on homework, work out, and make a slammin dinner. I attempted (with success) pot roast for the first time. It rocked. I want more days off I decided. Maybe we should celebrate each president individually.
I'm so grateful for an amazing husband who works super hard and is so sweet and funny and cool. I love you, Adam!

Wow!
Not only did I FINALLY post pictures...but I have three posts in a row all with pictures. Hurrah! Enjoy!
Natalie's Birthday
My little sister turned 15 yesterday. I can barely believe she'll be driving in a year! She's a swell little gal. She's super artistic and helpful and sweet and sometimes irritating but mostly she's great. Happy Birthday, Natalie!
From My Front Porch Looking...Out.
Karyn tagged me to do this post...so I finally did.
This view is part of why I love EM. This is the view straight off our front porch. We have a steep, curvey driveway which I loved when we bought it, it isn't quite as great when slippery though. Our master bedroom looks right out to the mountains on the right of this picture...love it! Note the attractive poured foundation with re-bar sticking up...classy.
This is a picture looking off the left side of our porch. Our neighborhood isn't finished so it's pretty much just a field with a couple houses for now.

Winter '09 Pics
I finally decided to upload my Winter 2009 pictures...about time really. We took Alyvia sledding at the golf course next to our house.
Our house is the one on the left. It was so nice to be able to just walk out and sled...also, check out that amazing view of Timp.
I took pictures of a couple of our decorations once I got them up...and then I took no more pictures of Christmas at all...because I 'm a dork. Here's our lovely tree.
Not a very wordy post but at least I finally got some dang pictures posted.
She ate it hard seconds after this picture was taken...note the little jump we sent her down.
What a stud he is.

The Elevator...
...best kept secret in study spots.
Ok...not really.
Today, I was on my way into work (normal). I got on the elevator with a lady (normal). She got off on the second floor...I stayed on the elevator to go to the third floor where I work...the doors were closing. A lady ran up and tried to pry the doors open (freak!). As soon as I noticed her I pressed this button <> to no avail...(see, I tried to be nice to the crazy woman). She kept yanking on the doors which refused to budge and then the elevator I was in started convulsing. I was alone in the shaking elevator with it's doors open about 4 inches. Thanks a heap crazy for breaking my eleveator! So other people came up to peak at the "poor girl trapped in the elevator" and the crazy denied anything and said I must have broken it and she just got there and saw it broken...then she took another elevator. A little old man tried to pry the doors open and couldn't but said he'd sit with me until it opened...sweet eh?...but I told him I was fine. I rang the little bell thingy and pushed the "push for help" button and everything. 25 minutes, and a lot of studying later, I was free. Now if I could find the jerk who jammed it I'd pay her back.
